Dr. Critchfield’s journey into dentistry is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a genuine love for people. Born in Cuba, she moved to the United States at just seven years old and grew up in Southwest Florida, where she learned the value of hard work, connection, and community. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she takes pride in making every patient feel seen, heard, and truly understood.



From an early age, Dr. Critchfield knew she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. Dentistry became the perfect path—allowing her to combine artistry, science, and empathy to transform not just smiles, but confidence and overall health. For her, it’s never just about teeth—it’s about helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and proud of their smile again.

After graduating at the top of her class from both Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of Florida College of Dentistry, she returned home to Naples to serve the community that helped shape her. Over the past 10 years, she has dedicated herself to mastering both general and advanced dentistry, continually expanding her skills so she can provide comprehensive, high-level care in one place.

Three years ago, she took a leap of faith and became the owner of Serenity Smiles—a practice built on her vision of what dentistry should feel like: warm, honest, gentle, and patient-focused. Every detail of the experience is designed with her patients in mind, from easing dental anxiety to delivering beautiful, lasting results.
